Roles and permissions
The role determines what a person is allowed to do in your organisation. You assign it when you send the invitation and can change it at any time afterwards.
1.Roles in the app
In the member list and in the invitation form, you can choose between the roles Admin and Member.
| Role | Permitted |
|---|---|
| Admin | Everything. Admins can view all content, create and edit it, and accept or terminate agreements. They also invite members and remove them. |
| Member | View only. Members can see sites, fleets, vehicles, agreements, and charging sessions, but they cannot make any changes or enter into an agreement. |
The following diagram summarises the two roles in an organisational chart. Below the organisation are the members with their own accounts, that is, admins and members.
Drivers, on the other hand, are not a role, because they have neither an account nor a profile. Instead, they scan the QR code on the vehicle or log in, which then assigns them to the vehicle.
2.Note
Depot operator and Fleet manager are not roles but areas in the sidebar. Both roles can view all areas, but only admins can make changes.
Your drivers do not need a role or an account; they only need the Driver Web App and the corresponding app login link.
