Site visibility

Whether you see a site on the map is determined by the respective depot operator.

1.Prerequisites

You are logged in and have created a fleet.

2.Step by step

    First, go to Fleet manager in the top left and open Map in the sidebar.
  2. 2.
    Click the info icon at the bottom left to open the Legend.

    It explains the colours of the pins and thus shows you whether No agreement, an Agreement offer available, or an Active agreement applies to a site.

    Next, click on a pin to open a window on the right showing the site details.

    There, you will see whether you can view the agreement offer and accept it by clicking Accept agreement or whether you can first Express interest.

    If you express interest, the depot operator will receive a notification and can create and approve an agreement offer for you.

    If you would like to see all the offers available to you at a glance, open Agreements in the sidebar and then the Agreement offers tab.

3.Note

For each site, the depot operator selects one of two options under Visibility.

  • Visible to all fleets on Depotcharge shows the site to every fleet on the map, on Depotcharge, BGL Charge, and ASTAG charge, so that, depending on the depot operator's settings, you can accept the agreement offer or express your interest.
  • Visible only to fleets with an agreement shows the site only to fleets that already have an agreement, for which the depot operator must add your fleet.

In addition, the depot operator can specifically address an agreement offer to the BGL Charge community. As a BGL member, you will see these offers with the applicable community tariff, whereas fleets outside the community will not receive them.

If a site is not yet in operation, it is set to Planned and appears with a grey pin. Even then you can already express your interest, and the depot operator then receives a notification.

However, you cannot request an agreement for sites that you do not see.

Note that visible does not mean usable, because you are only permitted to charge once you and the depot operator have accepted an agreement offer.
