Do I need an association membership to use BGL Charge?

Yes, BGL Charge is the charging network of the Federal Association of Road Haulage, Logistics and Disposal (BGL), so BGL Charge is exclusively for BGL members. However, companies that are not BGL members can use Depotcharge, the operator and regular network behind BGL Charge, and therefore also access the BGL Charge network.

If you are not a BGL member, feel free to register with Depotcharge.

You therefore only need a BGL membership if you want to become part of the BGL Charge community. To do this, enter your membership number during registration, which we use to verify your company.

As a member of the community, you benefit from community tariffs, that is, special prices that depot operators can offer specifically to fleets in the BGL community, and from bilaterally agreed prices.

If your membership number is not accepted, write to us at support@depotcharge.com. This mainly happens with new members whose number is not yet on our records.
