Breakdown of charging costs

With BGL Charge, the charging costs comprise the depot operator's price per kWh and the service fee of €0.02 per kWh. You can see how these costs break down for a single charging session in its details.

1.Prerequisites for fleet managers

Your charging history contains at least one charging session.

2.Step by step - Fleet manager

  1. 1.
In the sidebar, open Fleets & charging cards, click on the fleet, and switch to the Charging sessions tab.
  2. 2.
Click on the desired charging session to open the Charging session details page.
  3. 3.
At the top, you will see the key figures Energy delivered, Total duration (with start and end times), and Total net cost.
  4. 4.
In the Billing details area, next check Billing relevance and, under Payment to site operator, check the Net energy costs, i.e., the energy consumed multiplied by the price per kWh.

Below, you will find the corresponding agreement and tariff, so you can also see whether a community tariff from the BGL Charge community has been applied.

3.Prerequisites for depot operators

There is at least one charging session at your site.

4.Step by step - Depot operator

  1. 1.
In the sidebar, open Sites, click the site, and switch to the Charging sessions tab.
  2. 2.
Click on the desired charging session to open the Charging session details page.
  3. 3.
At the top, you will see the key figures Energy delivered, Total duration (with start and end times), and Total net revenue.
  4. 4.
In the Billing details area, next check Billing relevance and, under Your charging revenue, check Net charging revenue, i.e., the energy used multiplied by the price per kWh.
  5. 5.
Finally, in the Fleet and vehicle area, you can see which organisation, company, and fleet carried out the charging session.

5.Result

You see how the costs of a single charging session are calculated and can reconcile them directly with your invoice.

6.Note

The depot operator's price is its net revenue, from which nothing is deducted. The service fee of €0.02 per kWh is added for the fleet, which is why the Total net cost is higher than the Net energy costs by the amount of this fee.

There are currently no discounts for committed volumes. However, you can obtain lower prices through community tariffs within the BGL Charge community or via bilaterally agreed prices.

All prices are exclusive of VAT, with the tax rate and currency determined by the country of the site. Revenue is always stated net.

Regular charging sessions are automatically recorded as billable. With Reporting only, by contrast, a charging session is only reported and not billed, for example when a fleet charges at its own depot.

If no price is shown for a charging session, it is either still being processed or valid tariff data was missing at the time of charging. In the second case, please contact support.
