Set opening hours and availability
If you enter opening hours, fleets know exactly when they can charge at your site. We show you how to enter the opening hours for external fleets at your site in a few steps.
1.Prerequisites
You have the Admin role and have created a site.
2.Step by step
- 1.First, go to Depot operator in the top left and then open Sites in the sidebar.
- 2.Select the site you wish to edit, and then switch to the Site preview tab.
- 3.Click Edit in the top-right corner to open the same form as for Add site.
- 4.Under Opening hours for external fleets, select either Open 24/7 or Has opening hours.
If you choose Has opening hours, select the days of the week on which the site is open, and then enter the opening times for each day.
- 5.If fleets are permitted to charge overnight at your site, please also tick Overnight charging permitted under Site facilities.
Finally, please save your changes.
3.Result
In the site preview, you now see the times for each weekday in the Opening hours area.
4.Note
As soon as fleets click your site on the map, they see the opening hours and the charging points with their status, and can thus tell whether a charging point is free or occupied.
You can also temporarily deactivate individual charging points. To do this, open Sites in the sidebar, select the site, and switch to the Charging points tab.
There, select the charging point and then deactivate the connection in the Connectivity tab. However, when the charging point is put back into service, it will then need to be reconnected.
