Overview of areas and roles
BGL Charge is divided into two areas. The area determines which functions you see in the sidebar, while a person's role determines what they are permitted to do there.
Here you will find an overview of both.

2.Switch area
- 1.At the top of the sidebar, you will find the toggle with Depot operator and Fleet manager.
- 2.Click the area you want to switch to.
The active area is highlighted in green, so you can see where you are at any time.
3.Always visible
Regardless of which area you are currently working in, you will always find Organisation settings and Support at the bottom of the sidebar.
4.Roles
There are two roles in BGL Charge. An Admin can see and change everything, whereas a Member can see everything but cannot make any changes.
Depot operator and Fleet manager, on the other hand, are not roles but the two areas in the sidebar.
The following diagram shows the roles as an organisational chart. Below the organisation are the members with their accounts: the admin, who can see all areas and is permitted to change, create and manage everything, and the member, who can only view.
Your drivers, by contrast, do not have an account; instead, they charge via the QR code on the vehicle or via a login, and open the Driver Web App in the browser on their mobile device.
